Dallo studio basato sulla figura geometrica della supercerchio (squircle), che unisce le proprietà di un quadrato a quelle di un cerchio, nasce il disegno della manopola che contraddistingue la serie Super.

From a study based on the geometric figure of the super circle (or squircle), which combines the properties of a square with those of a circle, comes the design of the knob that distinguishes the collection called Super.

A prima vista una forma semplice, dalla grafica familiare a cui l’occhio è abituato quasi inconsapevolmente nel quotidiano poiché ha ispirato vari oggetti. La sfida iniziale è stata trovare lo “squircle” corretto che realizzasse la migliore ergonomia e quindi comodità nella presa della maniglia, offrendo una superficie di appoggio alla mano più generosa del cerchio senza la durezza degli angoli a 90° di un quadrato, e che fosse possibile poi estendere efficacemente agli altri elementi che caratterizzano una serie completa per il bagno.

At first glance, a simple shape to which the eye is almost unconsciously accustomed to in the everyday life as it has inspired various objects in the past. The initial challenge was to find the correct 'squircle' that would achieve the best ergonomics and thus comfort in the grip of the handle, offering a more generous hand surface than the circle without the hardness of the 90° angles of a square, and that could then be effectively extended to the other elements that characterise a complete bathroom series.
