Platek A Different Landscape
Platek | Exhibition | 2025

Platek participates to Euroluce, as part of the Salone del Mobile Milano2025, with a real pavilion built inside Milano Rho Fair.
It’s an ephemeral architecture marked by light-colored partition walls, topped by a lightweight covering: galvanized iron pillars
and beams support a thin metal grating that provides a filter with the outside without completely closing off thespace.

A highly evocative space, simulating the sensations of a walking through a nocturnal landscape, was recreated inside the pavilion.
The pillars, arranged in a regular grid, alternating with the differently oriented wall partitions, accompany the visitor along the tour,
which takes place walking on raised wooden walkways.

The inspiration for this imaginary environment comes from the most extreme spaces, in particular volcanic landscapes where low, rarefied vegetation gives way to black rock. Along the route, visitors are completely immersed in a world in which the elements
of sight, sound and smell are combined to create an unconventional scenario, highlighting the design and lighting quality
of Platek’s outdoor fixtures.
