Palazzo Barovier&Toso

Barovier&Toso | Interior | 2018

Located on the historic canal of Murano (Venice, Italy) Barovier&Toso has opened its newest showroom: an interior space of over 900 square meters divided on three levels, totally redeveloped by Calvi Brambilla, with a contemporary reinterpretation of the typical architectural elements of the ancient noble palaces: from the boiserie to the Venetian floor, to the layout of the rooms to the color that marks each room, establishing the chromatic variation of all its components . A choice that becomes the common thread of the entire building. The artworks by Jason Martin, Brigitte Kowanz and Astrid Krogh are a tribute to the Biennale di Venezia.

“To make the new Palazzo a reality, we have thought about a space where history and contemporary can coexist, as the two primary essences of Barovier&Toso. We have been able to harmoniously combine an essential, modern interior design concept with the majesty of Murano glass, enhanced by a context full of light and reflections.”
