miglior design italiano, reinterpretato con uno spirito contemporaneo.
Si compone di due parti: il
guscio inferiore e l’ampio schienale superiore, innestato al di sopra con un
semplice meccanismo di matrice automobilistica. La caratteristica
silhouette avvolgente e quasi materna, sospesa su gambe in legno, trasmette
visivamente la sensazione di comfort che si prova quando ci si accomoda. Grazie alla possibilità di
scegliere rivestimenti in tessuto, pelle o ecopelle, nonché
alla disponibilità di gambe in diverse essenze o laccate, Laurie si
inserisce con facilità in tutti gli ambienti della zona giorno e notte.

Laurie is an armchair
designed by Calvi Brambilla for Pianca; it’s a tribute to the tradition of the
best Italian design, reinterpreted with a contemporary spirit.
It consists of two parts:
the lower shell and the large upper backrest, grafted on top with a simple automotive
mechanism. The characteristic
embracing and almost maternal silhouette, suspended on wooden legs, visually
transmits the feeling of comfort that you feel when you sit down. Thanks to the possibility
of choosing fabric, leather or eco-leather coverings, as well as the
availability of legs in different essences or lacquers, Laurie fits easily into
all living and sleeping areas.
