Dalla luce caravaggesca come elemento drammatico nelle nature morte, alla simmetria pura della mela celebrata delle arti grafiche, il tributo all’arte italiana si gioca con le forme della natura, tradizionalmente oggetto di indagine della luce e del colore.

From the Caravaggesque light as a dramatic element in still life paintings to the pure symmetry of the apple celebrated in graphic arts, the tribute to Italian art plays with the forms of nature, traditionally the subject of light and color investigation.

L’allestimento gravita attorno al nucleo di un cortile con alberi da frutta - ispirato all’impluvium delle antiche dimore romane - inquadrato da colonne e che fa da scenario ai prodotti outdoor dell’azienda. Come un chiostro che concilia la contemplazione della natura, lo spazio accoglie la luce di un corpo retroilluminato che pervade gli alberi nel cortile e si insinua all’interno.

The setup revolves around the core of a courtyard with fruit trees - inspired by the impluvium of ancient Roman houses - framed by columns and serving as a backdrop for the company's outdoor products. Like a cloister that reconciles the contemplation of nature, the space embraces the light of a backlit structure that permeates the trees in the courtyard and filters inside.

Celebrata dalle soluzioni tecniche di DGA, la mela, forma viva tra le geometrie, è protagonista dell’allestimento e si redime da oggetto della discordia per riconciliare il naturale con l’artificiale. Il progetto, di memoria pittorica, rende omaggio alla luce come entità inafferrabile, cruccio degli artisti per molti secoli. Un concetto che, per spiegarsi, ha bisogno della forma. Ha bisogno di altro, che non sia luce.

Celebrated by DGA's technical solutions, the apple, a living form among geometries, is the protagonist of the setup and redeems itself from being the object of discord to reconcile the natural with the artificial. The project, with its painterly memory, pays homage to light as an elusive entity, the bane of artists for many centuries. A concept that, to be explained, needs form. It needs something other than light.
