DGA Architect@Work

Designed as a travelling exhibition system, the DGA stand reinterprets the idea of a transport case as a compact architectural device. Conceived to move between different cities and trade fairs, the structure arrives as a closed volume and unfolds on site into an open space for displaying the brand’s lighting collection.

A corrugated aluminium shell defines the outer envelope, while an internal display system draws inspiration from lockers and vending machines, turning storage into an integral part of the exhibition architecture. Drawers, compartments and illuminated surfaces create a sequence of smaller spaces in which luminaires, materials and finishes can be explored at close range.

The reversible configuration allows the system to adapt to different spatial conditions and exhibition requirements, while maintaining a consistent architectural identity. Once the event is over, the elements are folded back into the case, ready to travel to the next destination.
