Urban Passion, Salone del Mobile, Milano

Urban Passion è il tema di allestimento concepito per Zanotta in occasione del Salone del Mobile 2019. La passione si dispiega attraverso scenari che evocano le principali metropoli, identificando ogni città con gli oggetti che più le rappresentano nell’immaginario urbano: il gusto classico di Roma, il rigore di Berlino, le atmosfere di Parigi, la vitalità di Barcellona, gli orizzonti verticali di Shanghai e lo skyline di New York. In un viaggio tra sei ambientazioni, l’allestimento attribuisce agli oggetti un significato nello stesso modo in cui ogni città riceve la forma delle passioni che animano la vita contemporanea.

Urban Passion is the theme of the set-up designed for Zanotta 2019, conceived as a volume from which to glimpse a sequence of metropolitan suggestions. The passion unfolds through symbolic and changing scenarios that recall the main metropolis, identifying each city with the objects that best represent them in the urban imagination: the classic taste of Rome, the rigor of Berlin, the atmosphere of Paris, the vitality of Barcelona, the vertical horizons of Shanghai and the New York skyline. In a journey through six settings, the space gives the objects a meaning in the same way that each city receives the passions that animate the contemporary life.
